Early in my career, I discovered a passion for working with college students. My experience spans over 15 years in Talent Acquisition and Campus Recruiting, where I recruited at leading Media and Technology companies. In 2014, I moved to Georgia Tech and began the transition of establishing myself as a leader in higher education.

Program Management

During my time as a Campus Recruiting Manager, I developed skills in program management, operations management, and leadership. I managed a team of Campus Recruiters across multiple business units and established consistent policies, benchmarks, and best practices. As the first Corporate Relations Manager for the Analytics program at Georgia Tech, I developed the Career Services Professional Development Curriculum, Applied Practicum Project Sponsorship Guidelines, and Recruiting Policies.

Building Relationships

An important part of my role in establishing the Corporate Relations function was building relationships with employers, industry partners, and students. I coach about 40 graduate-level students at any given time and provide the tools, relationships, and information necessary to successfully support their professional development. Across my institution, I regularly collaborate with the Business Analytic Center, Institute Development, Career Center, and partner academic units.

Innovation

I created and launched the Analytics Career Fair an annual recruiting event drawing nearly 40 companies from a variety of industries seeking Analytics and Data Science talent. In addition to establishing marquis recruiting events, I developed and implemented alumni engagement and admission recruitment strategies.

Communication

Effective communication skills are extremely important to being a leader in higher education. I’m excited to be pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Writing and Digital Communication at Agnes Scott College. The skills that I gain will enhance my ability to persuasively engage and communicate with Administrators, Faculty, Staff, and Students across traditional and ever-evolving digital platforms.
